About This Station
I am using an Oregon Scientific WM-918 to collect the weather data and serveral 1-wire sensors. The 1-wire sensors are from Hobby-Boards. I have a lighting counter and a solar sensor installed. I log the data using Weather Display software on a standalone PC running Windows XP. I got the WM-918 for Christmas 2002. I did have it operational until March of 2003, due to it being winter in Pennsylvania and where I wanted to mount the equipment on my house.
About This City
Clarion is a borough in Clarion County. It is the county seat. It is located approxamately 80 miles north and east of Pittsburgh PAand approxamately 80 miles south and east of Erie PA. It is 62 miles east of the Pennsylvania / Ohio boarder.
The community was named after the Clarion River.
